Hi everyone, newbie here. Got engaged in September and have wondered about the mark on my ring. I'm hoping this is the designer's mark. I know my FI bought it wholesale and chose the setting and the stone separately. He is not sure if there is a designer for this setting or what and there is nothing on the paperwork he has), I'm just trying to find out so I can know if there is a matching wedding band. Anyone have a clue? It looks like a swoopy "A." Or maybe it does not mean anything, or I'm completely on the wrong track!

here are links to the pictures:

Well, the 750 mark rather than 18K would make it most likely European. Don't recognize the mark though. Hope that helps a little. (Though if you're in Europe too, I suspect it might not be much of a revelation!)

The picture was gone and I am not sure what a swoopy A means.  I know "A Jaffe" has an a as their logo.

Other designers that start with A

All I can tell you from that hallmark is that it is not British and it's not Italian either.

I did wonder if it could have been from Arezzo in Italy (I used to work in the gold industry there), but they would have numbers after the A as well that would indicate the exact manufacturer.

Can you go back to the wholesaler?
