well, following the suggestion of a few smart people here, I had the diamond checked for fluorescence, and phosphorescence. The GIA certified gemologist found: none, none, despite the GIA report stating: faint. She actually took me into a room with a phosphorescent white that glowed for about 10 seconds to show me. She thinks I should send it back  Got a name of a fancy diamond consultant, Stephan Hofer, and am sending it to him too. could be a very odd duck indeed! |
