emilina22 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,390 Last Post: 11/20/2009 Member Since: 2/10/2007	so i went to see my dress tonight and well i was in for a HUGE surprise... when i ordered my dress back in october i ordered it according to my measurements...well when i tried it on it was about a size and a half too big!! this makes me happy because well ive been working hard... here are some of the pictures from tonight i love the dress, and i think its perfect for me!!

emilina22 Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,390 Last Post: 11/20/2009 Member Since: 2/10/2007	thank you so much everyone for you comments they mean alot to me! i really hope time flies till june 14th so i can wear it for real all day long!! its crazy when i put it on my mom and my sister had the biggest smiles on their faces and this look of awe..im the oldest and the first one to get married in our family and so it was kinda a big deal for my mom and my sister and me, so theyre reactions was the same as if they would have cried (we arent big cryers so i wasnt expecting my mom to cry or anything) but thanks again everyone

musey Ideal Rock Total Posts: 11,165 Last Post: 11/24/2009 Member Since: 9/30/2006	The exact same thing happened to me with my Pronovias gown - I ordered it exactly to my measurements, and it came in at LEAST two sizes too big. I had not changed measurements at all. I think they err on the large side because (a) a lot of brides think they'll lose weight and either don't manage to or even gain, and/or (b) it's obviously a lot easier to take a dress in than to let it out. Mine was a real pain to attempt to take in, but it looks like yours should be easy! Anyway, yay! for the dress coming in, and it's wonderful that you love it so much! Congrats!
