Oh wow, your home is beautiful! Inside and out!
It's huge...how many square feet are we looking at here?
I love the tile works....must see more in details :)
And I also wanted to see...your landscaping is awesome.

Here's mine. It's a tudor also. Built in 1931. This is the front of the house (thought it was funny that DH and I are in the front door in the pic)

I WISH ours was as big as yours!! And your lot size looks HUGE!! I'm soooo jealous!

Here's a pic of our kitchen remodel from last year. We knocked down two walls and made our kitchen, dining room and office all kitchen/dining

ETA: the remodel is not done in these pics that were taken last year-hence the white trim we have yet to strip and the unfinished molding.

this is the built-in we were able to salvage in the remodel. We have all gumwood woodwork. I love the rich dark color.

Burk, I LOVE your house! It is so sunny for a tudor! I love your kitchen too. We have tile like that in our master bath. That is going to be a hard house to move from. What is the new house going to be on the outside?

We're going for the craftsman look for the house we're building. The builder does all custom, craftsman style homes. I'll attach a pic of the house that we looked at that we liked that caused us to choose our builder. Our house will be custom and different in many ways (this house is 1 and a half story and ours will be 2) but it gives you an idea of the style.

iluv~it'll be a while. Still can't decide on a plan or a lot! We meet with the builder's rep this weekend to try and get some things figured out. Oh, and we still haven't put our house up for sale. We have a ways to go.

Dani~Thanks! We live in Nebraska.

I adore vaulted ceilings!

And the lighting you have in the living room picture.  It's like a swirly of light.  That's awesome!!!!!

Ditto me too!  There is something charming about older homes, the details and those windows (Iluvs).  Your yard is awesome Iluvs!!!
Both Tudors are gorgeous.  My hubbys parents had a home that was built in 1905; it was so cool (they sold it but it was in VA).  I love all the details, gorgeous!

I LOVE, LOVE Tudor homes. The city that I'm from has a lot of them. Even my elementary school has Tudor architecture, I suppose that's were my love of Tudor homes stems from.

I would love nothing more than to find an older Tudor home, but I think we're going to eventually build. Depends on when we add to the family.

puffy~Your current house is huge, you have nothing to be jealous of!

pen~That school is absolutely gorgeous!! I can see why you love it! Maybe when you build, you could build a tudor style? I've seen some gorgeous plans for tudors! When are you building?
