How about if we schedule it far enough down the road for people to make plans to come, and also we do have to consider what Madam B mentioned. The weather here is not so dependable in New York in January or February. How about March 28th? The Macy's flower show opens that day. It would be a nice thing to see before we stop and eat. If that's too far down the road, we could plan something for next month. What do you think?

That's because there hasn't been a GTG (for as long as I've been on PS, at least). We really should make this one work.

I'm not in NY but I am in CT and I have been trying to get into the city for ages. My life is sort of a whirlwind right now so don't plan anything around me, but I will keep updated of what you plan and if it happens to work out I would love to join in. I would just have to let you know at the very last minute...

I guess a lot of things have changed since I worked in the city. It'e been a while. I used to like the original Gucci store. Boohoo..... Our list is coming together! So far we have Harriet, elle, Madam B, gemgirl, maybe 777s, Clairitek, CDNinNYC, and chiapet. There are still people who have to respond yet. Brown.Eyed.Girl I don't see why not! Let's get this one off the ground, then we'll plan to get together again in the future. OK, a day.... a Saturday, yes? What date? Suggestions?

I'm in but I am traveling every one to two weeks every month till May. Right now I will not be here the weekend of March 6 or Feb 13th or 20th. Grr...my job should never get in the way of PS. BTW...I live here so I could even meet for coffee and a walk around the city on any weekend I'm here. ETA: I can't go shopping till after the wedding. I'm on credit hold with myself and my fiance right now!
