How fog and a flight attendent are preventing me from my dress

The shop called to tell me to pick-up the gown within 10 days. As it was over the holidays, i told them I would not be able to pick-up my dress until this weekend. I had it all planned, my mom and I would go pick-up my dress on Sunday. Well, my mom is in Cincinnati visiting my sister and we (my mom and I) live in Atlanta. My mom was due to leave Cincinnati this afternoon at 4PM, well its now 10PM and she is still sitting in Cincinnati. We've had bad fog here in ATL, which is all fine and good. But, the plane for my mom's flight is in Cincinnati, is ready to leave, but they are waiting on flight attendents as the weather has disrupted their routes. So, my mom's flight will not leave for at least another hour. I have to go pick her up at the airport at the wee hours tonight. But now she might be too tired from all the exhausting travels. Looks like I might not get my dress tomorrow. My dress shop is kind of pushy and I am afraind if my dress sits there too long w/o me picking it up, that they will charge me a storage fee. I could go get it on my own, but I really want my mom w/ me. Grrrr, its so weird how some fog and missing flight attendents can lead to something like not getting your wedding dress thanks for reading my rant... :) Everything Works Out for a Reason

I thought they were going to give me a had time b/c they established a ten day pick-up window for my gown. I did not want them to charge a storage fee and I really wanted my mom to go with me to pick-up the gown. Fortunately, the shop manager was very nice to me and said I can pick-up my gown on Saturday. So, less than a week! It will be an action packed day. I hope to also choose my chair covers, I need to pick-up some vases from IKEA and then....the GOWN!!! Everything Works Out for a Reason
