zhuzhu Ideal Rock Total Posts: 1,575 Last Post: 11/21/2009 Member Since: 3/15/2006	I just want to share a sad news about a dear friend of mine back from Pittsburgh. She and her husband were in a car accident last Saturday, while he was hurt with only scrapes and bruises, she died in the helicopter on the way to the hospital. I just received the email from him yesterday with no much details about the actual accident. I still can not get myself to accept this sad news as a fact. She was only 32 - she was a lively, bright, and happy special ed teacher. My last memory of her was when she drove us to see the Christmas Light Parade in Pittsburgh. I am processing it slowly, and pray that her husband and family can hang in there through this sad holiday.

I am just sad that I am in CA and there is very little I can do to help him at this difficult time. In fact both of their cell phone broke in the crash and I have not been able to get a hold of him. Please everybody, be extra careful and keep yourself and everyone around you safe this holiday season.

This same thing happened a few years ago to a seven year old girl I used to teach in preschool, and I just don't know how the survivors get through it. I'm so sad for you and her husband and family. For the kids she taught as well.
