Hi All, Long time lurker, first time poster here. I'm in search of an Emerald cut diamond for an e-ring, and have been having a tough time identifying just the right diamond. Based on the collective wisdom of the board, I am most likely looking for a well cut (1A, 1B) eye clean diamond in the F,G,H color range with a weight of 1.1-1.25 carats, but am willing to be flexible for the right beauty. Attached, please find attached an image of a possible candidate for which I have requested additional information (Sarin, Imagescope, ASSET if possible) which seems to meet the relevant objective standards, however I recognize that beauty (and value) come from more than just the numbers. Details matching to the attached picture are as follows: 1.24 carat I would appreciate any feedback from the community regarding this diamond (additional detail as it is provided) as well as suggestions regarding other candidates that you would enjoy wearing / giving / owning in the 5K - 6.5K range. Thanks in advance!

As promised, please find attached an additional image plus the results of the SARIN report. I'm not particularly enthused by the light leakage shown in the image, but would certainly welcome some expert opinions!

only downside I see is the small corners/windmills and that is mostly personal preference. You do lose some small flashes that normally come from that area. Do you like the outline? Corner patterns? Otherwise everything checks out :} ........... Karl has joined the diamond trade and is now posting as Karl_K |
