You can take me off the list - I'm ENGAGED!!! We were heading out to our monthly date night and a stupid ice storm was moving through the city. I was just putting on my coat when B dropped to a knee and asked!!! I kept saying (at warped speed) "Are you serious? Is this REAL? Are you really serious?" He assured me of his sincerity I just hugged him and cried and kept saying "ABSOLUTELY! YES!" over and over. Then he pulled back and said "Do you want to see the ring!?!" He put the most beautiful ring on my finger! He had a whole romantic plan with a horse and carriage and all - but the ice storm made it too dangerous for the horses - so he was left hanging at the last minute. So he just winged it! He couldn't stand the wait any more. Without further ado: 1.89 Carats center stone 2.89 tcw Cushion Cut D color SI2 clarity (completely eye clean as far as I can see! And I've looked at it - A LOT!) Do not dismiss the rough... for it is where the most beautiful diamonds are found.

I don't know the exact ratio - but he thought it was 1.3 or so. We left for my parents house the next morning, so we haven't been around to check the paperwork!
