How to take a good picture of my diamond?

cooperchien Rough Rock Total Posts: 18 Last Post: 12/22/2008 Member Since: 12/8/2008	Hi, everyone, I want to take the picture of my ring but my camera's auto focus just does not focus on my diamond..... Can someone give me advice on how to take a close up diamond's pictures under the candle light? Learning about diamond is more fun than I thought!

Use that and no flash, keep the ring and the camera as steady as possible and try taking pics outside with the sun behind you. Experiment, it can take a little while to get the knack of it! Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. EricaR Ideal Rock Total Posts: 2,110 Last Post: 11/23/2009 Member Since: 12/4/2007	Be prepared to take lots and lots of photos! As Lorelei said, take your ring outside and put your camera on macro. Prop up the ring so that the light is hitting it and take thirty or forty pictures. Discard all but the one or two good ones you got. Lather, rinse, repeat. ;)
