1)The Beverly K halo from pearlmans THIS ONE

2) The Bev. K halo from pearlmas with a rose gold halo w/pink sapphires/pink diamonds LIKE THIS ONE BUT IT'S THE SAME BEV K RING WITH THIS PINK HALO

3) The setting from JA with matching band and add scroll work to the shanks THIS ONE

4) The setting from JA with mathing band+scoll work+replace the bezel diamond w/bezel sapphires

What do you think?

There are no places to actually vote, but I LOVE both of the Beverley K ones. I have been considering this BK style with a pink gold/diamond halo (intstead of pink stones) for a right hand ring for a while now. I tried on a similar one and thought it was so cool. Either BK would look awesome with a Cushette.

Just so everything is clear....#2 is not the ring Kat has...its the same ring as #1 (the bev. K from pearlmans) but with modifications...so the halo would have rose gold with pink melee.  Same ring as #1, just modified (which jason assured me can be done at not to much more of an expense!

I'm leaning more towards #1 (the bev. K from pearlmans) but having them change the melee around the head into rose gold/pink diamonds.  I looked at pink sapphires and the pic that pearlmans has kinda looks like bubblegum pink...not the shade I was going for...so I'm thinking if we can find lighter pink sapphires that would be good...if not...off to search for pink melee!

Hey Stephanie. I wouldn't go off the colour in that pic, although I know what you mean.
Just fyi, I'm no coloured stones expert but I think pink diamonds may blow out your budget quite a bit..

I guess I'm alone, but I really like #3. I have to say, I'm a huge fan of the bezels! I think the two basic styles are so different that its really just a matter of what you like the best. I'm not sure that's any help...but both are gorgeous!

I know, but if I'd get the Bev K, I wouldn't be getting a band.  I think its a stand alone piece.  Also, Jason was the one who brought up the bubble gum part...he pointed it out to me and promised that isn't what it'd look like

As for #3...I love it to! ESP. if I can get engraving/scroll work done on the shank.  They are 2 different styles with a hint of vintage flare.  I LOVE the Bev. K piece because it's a piece of art...just to die for!  It will also give me more finger coverage (until I can upgrade me stone )

I love #3 because it's simple, elegant with a hint of vintage feel to it ( I LOVE THE DIMAONDS IN THE SHANK!)
I can probably get it in palladium (no plating for it) and then I can have a matching band made and still probably stay under budget.  It also makes my diamond stand out more.  I'm not making a decision until closer to march...so I have time to think about it.

Jason offered to have the Bev. K piece sent to me so i can see it in person.  That may help the deciding factor.  I'd really like to see the other one in person too...

I found another one that I like, it's more unique than both of the other ones (artcarved piece) and the price would make my hubby happy.  I don't think I like it as well as the JA piece or the Bev. K..but I think it could grow on me.  What do ya'll think?

1 or 3.  I'm sorry but I don't like the pink halo for an eng. ring.  It doesn't have a "mature" look to it with the pink.  I know many people love that shade, but to me, it seems more like a fun design for a RHR.  Pink may be fun in your 20s, but it lacks that serious type of look I would want in my 30s.  Maybe I'm just getting old though. . .

You said you planned to upgrade your center stone, right? In that case, I'd go for the James Allen with a matching band, so when you get a bigger stone, you only have to swap out the head.

I vote for the ArtCarved ring - I think that would look magnificent with a cushette.

I was thinking the same thing...

If it were me, I'd probably go with option #3 or option #4...I would actually lean towards #4 and do round bezeled sapphires, but color in the setting is such a personal preference...so long as you could get beautiful bright blue (not dark) sapphires in the setting, I think it really adds to the vintage look. I might see if the bezeled rounds can be a little bit smaller and possibly do a bezeled marquise instead of the 3 rounds in a marquise-shaped setting. I just really love that look and think a matching band would be gorgeous.

The Bev K setting is beautiful and the advantage is that it would be a blinger setting. I'd say the advantage of #3 or #4 is that it's a nice vintage look, you could easily upgrade down the road without having to buy a new setting and you could have a separate (or matching) wedding band. I'm a woman who loves bands, but that's obviously another personal preference.

Good luck with the decision! No matter what, it's going to be beautiful!

BEVERLY K all the way!!!!!!  I love both the rose gold and the white gold, but i do slightly prefer the continuity of the all White Gold head.  That is an absolutely beautiful ring!

I am kinda leaning towards the Bev. K as well (it'll make a nice RHR down the road...perhaps with a sapphire )

Pearlmans emailed me pics, lets see if I can upload them

Option 1:  Pink scrolls only
Option 2: pink halo only
Option 3: both scrolls and halo

Which one of these 3 options (still not ruling out the JA or the Artcarve yet...)

Sorry, but I have to ditto MC. I love rose gold, but not really for an ering. I think I would get tired of it quickly.
But hey, its not me - so if you love pink, then go for it

Out of those last 3 pics, I like the first with just the pink scrolls best. That way you get the pink, but it will probably only be noticeable to you when looking upclose.

I like option 1 of the Bev K with the rose scrolls only.  Gives it a nice individual touch.

Okay...so I have been staring at the pics for a long time of the Bev K w/rose gold options...and I have feeling that MC and arjunajane are right...I'm going to tire of the rose gold...and then complain about my setting and my hubby will shoot me.  This setting has to last me AT LEAST 5 years before I can breathe a word of a dimaond upgrade.  I also would LOVE this bev. K to have a sapphire in it someday...and RG and sapphires don't really match IMO.

I LOVE sapphires/blue diamonds and have been thinking about how when I was going custom I'd like "surprise" sapphires/blue dimaonds in the setting.  So...I notice that the Bev. K has a itty bitty dimoand under the head.  I'm thinking maybe a sapphire or a blue diamond on each side?  They are so small that the blue diamonds should be crazy expensive, and I'd have my hint of color as well as my "personal" touch.

What do you think?  I'm also thinking about adding a second shank to the ring (so it looks like I have a WB on it w/o having to buy the wedding band because I want it to sit flush)

Any thoughts?  Thakns guys!  I knew I couldn't think of all the little things w/o you!

I like the idea of blue sapphires. A blue diamond would be too subtle I think to stand out as anything in particular. I love that BK setting, BTW. One of my favorites ever. I'd say my first choice would be the blue sapphire surprise stones, second would be the pink gold scrollls. Both ideas lend an individual touch but aren't too aggressively noticeable; more something you would be able to enjoy when you looked at your ring, rather than something you'd have every third person commenting on when looking at it.

Thats what I'm going for!  I think this is the setting I want YAY!  I love the price point as well!  Do you think 18K WG will be okay, or should I shoot for platinum?  Also, here is a double shank options (I'm gettting eitehr the blue sapphires/blue diamond)

I don't think ican find a WB to go with it, so Jason suggested a dbl shank.  What do you think?  I'm not sure how I feel about it...maybe it'd grow on me?

My halo setting is 18K white gold, and I like it a lot. Platinum I prefer in antique settings with a lot of delicate piercing or filigree, but micropave modern settings, I like the shinier finish you get with the 18K white gold w/ rhodium. I haven't needed to replate at all with a year of hard wear every day, nor have I lost any melee. I think that unless you have a real specific reason for platinum (like you're allergic to any quantity of nickel, or you wear rhodium of fast) 18K is great.

I can't wait to see your reset! I want to reset my e-ring some day (soon?) but I just can't bring myself to spend the $...

I like the single shank best... not sure why though!

ETA: I don't always wear a wb with my e-ring; I have an antique curved one I wear with it sometimes, but it doesn't fit perfectly. Sometimes you get "oh, did you just get engaged?" types of questions, but not that often; not enough to bug me anyway!
