I was reading an article in the LA Times this morning about the fighter jet that crashed into a man's house in San Diego, killing his wife, two baby daughters and his MIL.

Inspite of his staggering and unimaginable loss, he said he bore no ill will toward the Marine Corps pilot who ejected safely before the jet plunged into his neighborhood and added, "I pray for him not to suffer for this action.  I know he's one of our treasures for our country."

WOW.  His dignity and grace brought tears to my eyes.  May his family rest in peace.

I live/work within 10 miles from the crashing site. I have been feeling so sad about this incidence since Monday and pray that he and other family members heal in time.

How very tragic it is to have such unexpected accident happened.

Wow!  He lost his whole family, but he refuses to harbor any bitterness toward the pilot . . . what a class act!  My heart just breaks for this poor guy.

Usually you expect people to sue the shit out of someone ... guess it is a cultural thing. Hope the Marines will give him the support he deserves anyway and maybe we can look into avoiding these stupid accidents to happen by not flying so close/over residential zones?????

What a horrible tragedy!  And what unimaginable pain that man must be suffering.......it takes a big person and a big heart to say what he did.
