A child's body was found and the police thinks that it may be Caylee Anthony, the little girl that was missing for months. She was found near her home. So tragic. She has been missing since around June.

Her mother has been in jail for awhile now and if she is found guilty I hope they throw the book at her.

I have been following this story so closely. I of course do not **wish** that this is her...but closure would be wonderful. That poor beautiful little girl.

If it is her at least her family can have some closure.

I'm not convinced that it was the mom, but if it was I hope she never gets out.

Did anyone catch Larry King Live last night? I don't watch it but apparently Casey's parents were on it. Now I wish I watched it.

i thought that Larry King was brutal to watch... her parents, IMO, are totally enabling their daughter and her lies...

I think Cindy Anthony has George by the b****.  I think George knows what happened...he's totally aware, if you've seen or heard any of the tapes that came out of his time with the detectives.  But Cindy seems like she pretty much runs the show...and he doesn't seem like he can stand up to her at all.

Also, it came out that years ago George fell for some online "scam" that was along the lines of "help me get my money, get rich quick"...and instead of owning his mistake, he lied about it to Cindy and said he lost the money "gambling".  So, whats so interesting about that development, is that everyone in that family lies.  George, Cindy, Casey...no one is innocent, and no one comes from truth 100% of the time.  Together, they have woven this incredible web of lies, and confused the issue, and sadly, it's only hurt the process of finding Caylee.

I think Casey is guilty as sin.  I think she is a monster, and she makes me sick

I think Cindy Anthony has come to the conclusion that Caylee is dead, and rather than "do the right thing" which is to put her daughter up against a wall until she fessing up...Cindy has decided to NOT lose another family member, and is doing her best to cover Caseys missteps.  Which, IMO, is shameful and makes her equally as guilty.

Ok, so I am totally over watching this story on the news... not to be rude.. but I live in Orlando, and every time I would turn on the TV it would be something "new". Im sorry but I think the girl totally killed her daughter and is trying to hide it. Her father lied to people about the smell in the car, and its all just one big lie. I hope they put all of them in jail for trying to cover up for their daughter. Casey has wasted so many people's time and money because she wont tell the truth..

Seriously people... who doesnt report their daughter missing for what a month?? Come on now.. I mean that little girl was a cutie, and i could totally see someone wanting to kidnap her.. but if it was my child I would have called the police the minute I thought they were in danger, who wouldnt???

I hope they figure out what happened so they can throw all of them in jail, and teach people that its not right to fabricate all these ridiculous lies... its almost like she wanted to be famous.. she had what 2 people covers??? come on...

sorry... i dont wish anything bad on Caylee.. i just cant understand why u wouldnt report your daughter missing and then lie about everything to help find her... atleast I BELIEVE Casey is lying about everything.

did you notice how when George was asked questions he started every answer with "as cindy said.. or as cindy mentioned" not only does Casey have him by the b*lls..so does cindy.

I am not sick of hearing this story because this beautiful litte girl lost her life because her mother could not handle parenthood... and her grandparents are lying. i will not be sick of this case until casey is behind bars with a life sentence.

I don't think they'll give Casey Anthony a life sentence unless she confesses. If she does not, and is found guilty, the likely recommendation in our state for a child-killer is the death penalty. What a sad, tragic waste of those young lives. Absolutely heartbreaking in every way.

At first they were not going for the death penalty because they did not have a body.  If this turns out to be Caylee, then she will hopefully fry!

As always in these cases - we will take the easy route and forget about what we could learn from such horrible behavior and try to avoid such crimes in the future.
Very sad indeed. Fry on. For Caylee's sake. We'll all feel better.

If the body is Caylee's and her mother killed her - yes, the world will be a better place without her.

"Hello Dollies"

Combine 1 stick melted butter and 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Press in greased 9x13 pan. On top, layer 1 package chocolate chips, 1 package peanut butter chips, 1 12oz can lightly salted peanuts. Top with 1 small can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat free big deal!). Bake at 350 for 25 minutes (the edges should be bubbly). I recommend not cutting them until the next day because it seems to take that long for the graham cracker bottom to really harden.

I agree with CBS, I will never be sick of this story until it is solved, and laid to rest.  A little girl doesn't die, and just quietly go away....we all owe it to her to make a lot of noise, and keep pounding away at this "mother" until she cracks, or until it's solved dispite her lies...no one cared enough about this little girl during her life to stand up for her, so the least we can do in her death is stand up and do whats right....

Sure, there is a lot of media saturation...but I live in Naperville, Illinois...a hop skip and jump from where Stacy Peterson went missing in October of 2007.  She actually lived about 5 miles from my home.  For months we watched with our fingers crossed that we'd come across a blue barrel, or something that would bring her home and Drew a life sentence.  Together with my husband and about 1000 other volunteers tore apart our local forrest perserve *trying* to find anything.  But, after about 6 months of nothingness, the case just "went away".  And Stacy, has never been seen or heard from again.  She's still missing by the way, and every so often Drew Peterson pops up in the media with more nonesense, and lies...but, for the most part, the case has gone cold.  Why?  Because people moved on....the case stopped being a topic of conversation, and ergo so did Stacy Peterson in general.  But at the end of the day, she's still missing....

So...the moral of my "rant" is that when something senseless and tragic and absurd happens, how do you just get "sick" of it and tune it out?

I live in Canada and have been following this story fairly closely as well. I feel so bad for that poor little angel. It also makes me sick to see her mother laughing and acting so nonchalant about the whole thing. If ANY of my family members were missing ESPECIALLY my child, I would be a hysterical mess. I believe her parents are enabling her as well and will be sad if we find out that the remains are those of Caylee's, but also believe it will be best to have some closure and new evidence in this case. I hope Casey is punished to the extent of the law.

I am following every detail of this story.  That beautiful little child......

Makes me just sick to think what happened to her.  And we have all these well deserving couples who are unable to get pregnant and a young mother can't handle parent hood and the child suffers and in this case, dies.  Sickening.

I agree with previous posters.

They didn't pursue the death penalty because there was no body. If the remains found belong to Caylee, that decision may be overturned.

And I hope it is. I hope she fries.

A lot of people thought it might have been an accident and she was scared and trying to cover it up. I crossed that theory out when Orange County officials released documents that showed someone had searched for "neck breaking" on the Anthonys' computer.

I think you misinterpreted what I said, I said I was annoyed with the story.... not SICK of them trying to find her..big difference ...as in the mom and her parents continual lying to everyone, and hurting the investigation more than helping. I just find it rude/selfish to have people search for a little girl, and give them no good evidence to go on, but lead them on a blind hunt and probably hurt it more than help....

I do hope they find something with the little girl so she can be laid to rest, and I hope they throw all of them in jail, the mom, and the grandparents for aiding their daughter and lying.

Like I said before, I dont mean to offend anyone but I am entitled to my own opinions regardless if anyone agrees or disagree.. we are all right?

Maybe I am reading too much into it, but I don't think that researching "neckbreaking" on the computer meant that the mother was researching how to kill her own daughter, like someone researching how to poison someone.  For Gods sake, she was a defenseless 2 year old, she couldn't defend herself against an adult who wanted to do her bodily harm.
After whatever happened, there was probably some attempt by the mom to see if this could somehow be explained "by accident" (by researching on the web).  It seems she came to the conclusion that the evidence was overwhelmingly against her if a body was found, hence the deception from there on out.  We may never know exactly what happened that day, but it sure makes her guilty as hell, especially as she tried to cover up the crime.

she researched all that on the computer in MARCH. Caylee went missing in June.

Yep, this witch was just another Susan Smith. I hope she gets what's coming to her

I despise her parents too. Her dad and mom have known since the smell of the decomposing body in the trunk of the car. Pizza my butt

Maybe I am reading too much into it, but I don't think that researching 'neckbreaking' on the computer meant that the mother was researching how to kill her own daughter, like someone researching how to poison someone. For Gods sake, she was a defenseless 2 year old, she couldn't defend herself against an adult who wanted to do her bodily harm.
After whatever happened, there was probably some attempt by the mom to see if this could somehow be explained 'by accident' (by researching on the web).

I just don't understand this world.  If you felt that way, just give up the child.  She had grandparents who loved her.

I just read that the remains found are indeed Caylee.  I'm so sad for that little girl.
