I also like some of the lime flavored one's they make now. Hubby buys a raspberry beer every once in a while and it bubbles like champange but, i'd prefer a nice red wine... ----------------------------- A deal is only a deal if you are getting exactly what you want.

It is similar/related to the Pęche sold in the US but I don't think they are exactly the same beer; the Pecheresse has an ABV of 2.5%, but American BeerAdvocate gives Pęche an ABV of 4.0%. It doesn't taste anything like the typical beer and doesn't have that wheaty aftertaste. It's really good!

I live right beside the Grolsch brewery here in Holland, so it tastes great in the pubs here, but it doesn't seem to travel well, so I never drink it when I'm home in Ireland. I love weissbeer, especially in the summer, and around this time of year there's a great Bok Beer festival here. Love that every now and then, but one glass is enough. Around Oktoberfest time, towards the end of the day, all beer starts to taste great! I was in Anaheim in August, and we visited a restaurant that had some locally brewed beers that tasted pretty good. I'm moving to California in January with FI so I'm looking forward to trying some more of those!

They have all sorts of fruit flavors, and they're yummy. i've never had the ones you're talking about, but Lambic doesn't taste like beer at all!

We also have a massive beer glass collection - over 30 or so different glasses, so we drink our beer in it's respective glass And for your other Q, I can TOTALLY down a 6 pack and then some ;)
