I find that romantic movies are the best way to relax when I'm stressed and also get me psyched up for more wedding planning, list all your favorites here!

When Harry Met Sally
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Love Actually
Moulin Rouge
The Wedding Planner
Made of Honor

Ok a lot of mine have wedding themes haha

Meee too!  I can't watch the movie or read the book without sobbing at some point!  Fantastic movie!

I also love V is for Vendetta which I know is an action movie more than anything else but I focus a bit more on the romance between the two main characters.

Romeo and Juliet
When Harry Met Sally (because FI and I were best friends for years before we took the step to dating)
Amelie
Garden State
Stardust

Ditto. Try reading the book. It took me a day to get through the first 3/4ths of it, and about 3 to get through the last few chapters. The pages were literally sticking together from my tears!!

It's funny because for my online class we had to write about our favorite movie. All the girls put the Notebook! We were all so in love with it that my professor actually went out and rented it. She said she cried from beginning to end too. It will go down as a classic love story. Meresal- I can only imagine how good the book is. I used to be obsessed with anything written by Nicholas Sparks. I read a Walk to Remember, way before they made the movie and that is an amazing love story-- the one book that actually made me cry. The movie, not so much though. I didn't care for it.

If you're into foreign films, "The Classic", is a good romantic Korean movie.

I don't know if anyone's interested but the movie Twilight is coming out this friday and it's such a great love story! If you are into sci fi you'll probably love it even more. Basically it's a love story between a girl and a vampire. Definitely one to check out :) I have a feeling the book may be better than the movie though

So, I have never seen The Notebook , but I was looking at it once at Best Buy and this mother/daughter pair who were just shopping came over to me to gush about how good it was. They both seriously started crying just talking to me about it. It actually really freaked me out, but maybe it is that good. lol

My faves:

Almost Famous
Lost in Translation
Princess Bride (had to include one where they end up together for good measure)

LOVE ACTUALLY  it is so funny but so much of our wedding music came from the score of this film.  The three love some theme's that Craig Armstrong wrote were our wedding music and then some other songs from the show were included.  DH and I danced our first dance to the song that the couple at work that liked each other danced to at the holiday party (nora jones - turn me on) and SH and his mom danced to "all you need is love".

Other shows...I may be younger but I love alot of the older films

My #1 Favorite movie of all time is Casablanca and I think it has a killer love story!
Gone with the wind is a good love movie
Anne of Green Gables (long but Anne and Gilbert...*sigh*)

For new films...
I really adore bridget Jones; colin firth is so dreamy LOL
Orignal Sin
The Piano

I know it is kind of cheesy but I really liked Sweet Home Alabama too.

I LOVE Casablanca but I never watch it much because I can't sit still for very long

I'll admit it, I also love titanic :) It gets so much crap but it's a really good movie!

Beebrisk I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that #6 is Notting Hill? Lol Never seen it, must be good :)

Ooh Lost In Translation! I had to write an analysis on that film for a class in college. Good thing it was so awesome; I had to watch it 4 times in 1 weekend! LOL...

Also glad I'm not the only one who hasn't seen The Notebook.

Not in any order....

Garden State
Dirty Dancing
Love Actually
The Notebook
Moulin Rouge

I am actually not a very "chick flick" kind of girl. I like dramas, comedy, and thrillers much better!  But, to all of you who have not seen The Notebook... GO SEE IT!  Your life will change...

Beautiful Mind

It's not a classic love story but a very real illustration of a wife being there for a husband that truly needs it and that husband realizing how much his wife affects his well being
