Republican Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens Loses Senate Race! |

Wow-Stevens is out! After all the ballots were counted, he lost to Begich by around 3,000 votes! I'm so glad, and not just because he's a Republican, believe it or not! I think it's a little pathetic that a convicted felon could be serving in our Senate. And it was CLOSE. (Which is not to say all politicians aren't criminals, but still...they haven't all been convicted!  )

I am shocked. He may be a crook by man did he bring Alaska a lot of money over the years, I thought he would be there until the day he died.

I just think of them as future convicted felons!

The reason those people voted for Stevens was to keep the seat Republican (figuring Ted would be forced to step down). It is remarkble that he got as many votes as he did. What a clown.
