| themed or personalized cake toppers? |

Anyone know of any reasonably priced websites that sell unique wedding cake toppers? Especially sports themed ones?
This website is an example but way over budget. Plus, it would not need to be a likeness of the bride and groom. Generic would be fine. |

I did a quick little search and turned up some expensive ($200+) blown glass ones that weren''t very detailed...
Here is a softball one that you could make- it''s a mini-glove with the couple in the middle, I found it on e-bay..I''ll continue my search tomorrow so you don''t end up with a decapitated groom one like I did

If you are crafty, you can make the cake topper yourself with polymer clay. I did that, but it was more cartoon style. It was fun.
But if you don't want to DIY, here are more clay cake topper websites that I had collected before I made my own: 1. www.clayfigurines.com 2. www.themcdevittstudio.com 3. www.weddingsculptures.com 4. www.onofigures.com 5. www.weddingcaketopper.com 6. www.klaykabobs.com 7. www.rebeccarusselltoppers.com 8. www.hosstudio.com 9. www.wigglebutt.com 10. www.designsbydorian.com 11. www.delaneydesigns.co.uk 12. www.angelkind.com - She offers really affordable cartoonish topper that she calls "Doll Face". It's only $50.00 for a couple. I was about to order from her until I decided to try to make my own. Hope this helps. Edit to add: MelissaSue posted before I finished typing up this big list. HeHe. If you in my area, I might be able to help you. |

I think the one i the glove is adorable! Much better than what I"m going to post, haha...but I guess this reminds me of sports because I associate sports figures with bobble heads:
http://www.whoopassenterprises.com/step1.php?productTypeId=1 You have to scroll down to the special events section and they make them custom for you with your faces. |

Buena-
I think we could make one really easily ourselves! Calling Matatora, a ladies craft session is in order !The figures on the decapitated groom topper that Eric got for us is really just that silly topper of the bride dragging the groom to the altar- the maker just cut off his head, glued it to her hand, added a little gore and that is it! Now if we got that figure, put a sofball cap on him, a glove on his hand, bats and balls at their feet she could be dragging him away from his many games (sound familiar?) |

I''m there! Craft sessions sound fun! I wonder if we could find some kid stuff for this! I love OTC and BG your man could go hog wild on their for your next big softball party!
