| My BGD three stone reset |
|
Here are the original rings, a 1.0 ct RB solitaire in YG tiffany setting and three stone .33/.50/.33 in platinum. They belong to both of my maternal great-grandmothers and I worked with BGD to do a three-stone with the 1.0 ct in the middle and the .33''s o the side in the WG crossed trellis setting. It just came and its GORGEOUS! Thinking now about what to do with the remaining .50 carat in a RHR...I like bezels and any ideas or examples are welcome!
So - the orignials first: They are 1940s-50s era:

Here''s a shot of the new one! BGD crossed trellis in 18K WG, .33/1.0/.33. No stats on the diamonds, but they look stunning in this setting!! I''m thrilled! Beautiful craftsmanship and great service from Lesley and Brian. Looking forward to more projects with them.

Here''s a profile handshot. its wonderfully low-profile, which I hoped it would be, and I asked for very secure "claw" prongs, and I think they came out perfectly. It has a very nice weight to it, but its still delicate and very comfortable. I just couldn''t be happier with how it turned out.
