Any opinions or advice?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I have this bracelet my mom gave me back when I was 18, I'm 42 now, lol. she really didn't tell me much about it except it was old and it was in her family, but she wasn't sure how long.. she passed on now and of course I can't ask any more info about the piece.
There are stamps in the clasp but I can't make them out clearly, I just have a cheap magnifying glass, I'm curious about the bracelet and would appreciate any idea's or opinions, should I take it into a jeweler to see what they say? does this look to be an old style bracelet? my mom never wore it, nor have I, that's the box it was in when she gave it to me.. sorry it's not the best picture.
