Automatic Avatar Sizing

One of the other forums I belong to automatically sizes and scales pictures to fit within certain avatar paramaters. Another has an option where you can crop specific pieces of photos to use as an avatar etc. It would be nice to have a little more flexibility. Sometimes getting perfect squares is difficult!

nice. I like this idea, also can't we save avatars by chance on our profile too perhaps?

I like both these ideas.. I hate having to log into photoshop just to resize (yes I am a lazy one!)
