Whiteflash Uternity Glamor Shots

Hello PSers,

I just received the glamor shots of my future engagement ring and I wanted to share it with everyone that helped me through the process. I have spent many hours on PS trying to find an engagement ring that suited me and fell in love with the u-prong eternity (I know it is not a traditional engagement ring but I felt it suited me the best). Also, thank you to all the lovely ladies that helped me on my previous post where I was all over the map with size and style. I hope that it will be just as pretty in person and of course will update with hand-shots when I receive it. Thanks again!

I will have to try on different wedding bands with to be sure but I was thinking a 2mm plain platinum band.

Jessica Simpson's eternity and plain band combo in the pic below was one of my inspiration pictures. I have considered a plain rose gold band as well. I have also considered another thinner diamond band... We will see.

It should be here next week. I'm not sure when SO will give it to me though, he wants to surprise me with it. I can't wait to see it IRL. Even more than that I can't wait to finally be engaged. SO wanted to wait to propose until he had the perfect ring. I told him not to wait too long 'cause I'm far too excited.

Your Uternity will be so flashy and stunning, that if it were me, I wouldn't want to 'compete' with that by adding another diamond band.

I just love the WF glamour shots - they do beautiful ones, as does BGD. Very excited to see it on your hand... !!!

I think that you are right about the bands I really want the eternity to be the star of the show. It would be nice just to have a plain wedding band that I don't have to worry so much about as well. SO wants to have matching platinum bands so that is probably the route we will go. Also, since this decision took me over a year to make I really don't even want to begin thinking of shopping for another diamond band

Thank you! I hope I won't have to wait too long either. Knowing SO, he won't be able to keep it under wraps for too long. Whenever he buys me something he gets too excited and has to give it to me immediately. Mind you he hasn't got me anything this expensive before so it will be interesting to see how he handles it.

I LOVE the idea of a blingy engagement band, I LOVE your inspiration look, and I LOVE your choice!!

The blingy eternity paired with a plain band is such an elegant and refined look, and I really like the difference in height between the bands in the inspiration pic - and the uternity is a classic!
