I found a new wedding/stack eternity ring for my collection! It's engraved "December 1939".

Seriously, that's a beautiful ring, and I agree about loving the sense of history that comes with vintage pieces. Tell us more about how you found it, what the specs are, the works!

I found on ebay, not listed as frenchies (but still priced as a Tiffany) and my heart started racing. I shot off an email to a friend to confirm that they were french cut diamonds, but I was afraid I'd lose it, so when I saw the return policy I hit BIN without waiting for confirmation. I don't know when it was listed because for some reason my listings have been coming up with "Highest First" as the default.
It's a size 6, the band is approximately 2mm (no calipers), there are 38 diamonds (I think, I need to count again), carat weight is estimated at 1 CTTW.

Lol, someone else beat you to calling dibs on it (the friend I emailed). The full engraving is "E.C." (patterned engraving) "D.C." (patterned engraving) DECEMBER 25, 1939 (patterned engraving). So likely a Christmas gift.
(My other band is engraved OBH to HEW 9-21-1922. Initials make me think it was a wedding band. I'm a sucker for old engraved bands.)
