I like the picture of the ring on the red box and the one right after it. That picture is awesome - you can see right in to the diamond. It is so "alive". Woo hoo.

Can I ask how much carat weight total the rings are (other than your beautiful diamond)? Just curious.

The marco lens helps, but I still couldn't get it to capture all the sparkle it has in real life. I love the macro for close ups.

The e-ring has 12 princess cut diamonds F-G VVS-VS and is 0.23 TCW. The wedding ring has 15 princess cut diamonds F-G VVS-VS and is 0.29 TCW.

GORGEOUS!!!! absolutely divine. i LOVE it! and i''m glad you kept the setting and band the same, they look perfect on your hand and compliment your new AMAZING stone just as beautifully as your first! oh, and i love how your v-tip prongs are done. i generally don''t care for them but yours are done delicately and add a very pleasing, feminine detail that enhances rather than detracts from your stone. I really like that you kept the same setting. I know that you said that was the plan all along, what a great plan! And from a .33 carat to your current stone - I''d love to know what exactly you did feed it. Mine seems to be shrinking, not growing.

The prongs were actually a little thinner and more rounded (not pointed) when I went to pick it up, so the stone looked more round, but I just told them and since they have a jeweler(benchman?) there they just fixed them while I waited!

I actually went out looking for the thinnest channel set princess cut band I could find. I really wanted an a 3/4 eternity band, but since my fingers are small this one looks almost like 1/2 eternity (more like 1/3 eternity). Facets was another place that had some thin bands as well. I like being able to bring it in to get it polished and checked though.

Eternity bands are so pretty but I think the diamonds all the way around would drive me crazy. Your channel set bands are gorgeous. My wring has PC stones accent stones and my center stone is a .53 RB. I just recently bought a 1/4 ct. RB channel set anniversary band to go with my wrings. Someday I might upgrade my stone and maybe change my wrings - what I want to do varies from day to day. I truly love my diamond so I know I wouldn''t go down in cut, color or clarity. I think if I did upgrade I''d only go to a 3/4 carat diamond. I would keep the carat weight in my bands small though because I would want the diamond to be the center of attention. You know - like your beautiful diamond and wrings.

ETA: Plus I'm a matchy girl (I prefer matchy over OCD, lol), so I wanted the cuts to all be the same (princesses obviously in this case)... it did take some work to find thin princess cut bands!
