I really love that the ring has a six prong head inside the halo - it makes it very unique looking!  Is that your diamond from your avatar???  if so, where did the pretty stones from the sides go..hmmmmm???? 

You have pretty hands too BTW...it looks great on you!

No, not the same ring as my avatar...that ring is still intact!  I was not going to get 6 prongs, but the jeweler suggested it so it did not look square with the 4.  The old setting was a 4 prong and it did look a bit square for my liking.

the six prong really makes a difference i think!  partcularly with the airline setting (is that the right term?  little space between the setting and diamond) - it does make it look round and different than others i''ve seen - well done!

Yes, that is what it is called .  I like the airline because I like it to look like a halo and not an illusion to make the stone look bigger...although, that is not a bad thing either!  The prongs look bulky in the pictures, but they are not that way IRL.

Ooh, this has to be one of my favorite halos! I don''t know if it''s your photography or the diamonds themselves, but the stones in your halo really look "alive" and sparkly. I like the airline, too. It''s a beautiful ring!

Lauren...I think that my diamond is just about the same size as your gorgeous new OEC halo...I think that it is such a nice size to add a halo to.  Not too big, not too small...just right
