Hubby got happy with the new camera again. He took some photos of my Lady Di style sapphire and diamond cluster ring that I was wearing. It is by JB Star and the setting is platinum. The sapphire is around 2.5 cts. I haven''t posted it before & these photos hardly qualify as an official debut but...here they are.

These photos make the sapphire look lighter blue than it really is. Hubby was bouncing the flash in a weird way. It''s amazing how awful jewelry looks when you use the super macro close lens!!

I like the way the light is reflecting different colors off of the sapphire on this one & how you can see the cutting facets.

In this one you can see how the band splits into three where it attaches to the basket. I like that detail.

As an added bonus you get this close up of the diamond in it''s bezel from my DA Gold bracelet.

Lady, I am kind of angry with you. Sorry but it is true! I just *know* you have amazing jewelry (lots that we have NOT seen I think) and you just tease us. I want a jewelry box shot with details of each piece included. Tell your hubby to get on with it!!!

Nope - this is my only JB Star ring. But - I am saving my pennies for next years trunk show because I KNOW I will find something stunning there. The things I saw this year were stunning!!

More macro shots. These pictures are closer to the actual color of the sapphire. Probably the hand shot is the closest.
