Hi everyone,
I am looking to reset my 1ct oec and found two beautiful settings on Snglestones site. I like both and am waiting to hear about prices but I was wondering if anyone here has worked with them before and would like to hear about their experience. Your help is greatly appreciated! I'm going to post the links to the settings below

Tisone is my first pick. I love that no one I know has anything like it. The big worry is that it's going to look like a huge monster on my size 5.5 finger. I don't want the ring to look like a cocktail ring.

This one is my second choice, I like that it looks like a flower but worry it will just look like a bunch of chunky diamonds.

This one I also like But it's hard to see the front view. I really like a flower type setting for this diamond. Please feel free to give me your opinions on the settings also. Thanks so much!!

I think I like the 3rd one the best, although you're right that it would be nice if they had a more straight-on picture. I really like the sapphire one too, that would be my 2nd pick.

Thanks or your responses! Do you think the one with the sapphire will be too big and make my stone look lost? My center is almost half the size of the one in the pic.

I do think the first one will look more like a right hand ring or cocktail ring than an engagement ring. The third one is the same design as Yenny's, but her stone is a gorgeous oval. I do prefer that design with the oval. (And that setting is very pricey...I think around $6000)

Have you seen this one? I really like it better than those for a round:

I prefer #1 & 3, personally. Yenny has # 3 and I think it is TDF!!

Their settings are gorgeous and run a bit higher than most. I believe on average, their settings are around $4k. I like 1 &3.

Ari was fantastic to work with...I can't say enough wonderful things about him. If you look up my thread (I'm on my phone and can't search easily), you will find many photos of the setting and one of the setting with an oec in it. Ari sent it to me so that I could see the setting, even though my stone is oval shaped. I think it's around page 5. When I get back in town and on my laptop, I'll post the photos for you.

I like the 1st setting. Erica Grace has a similar ring here. http://jewelsbyericagrace.smugmug.com/Jewelry/Rings-Antique-diamonds/1ct-Old-European-Cut-Diamond/17507528_HQ4kt5#!i=1335813461&k=MDfTWVX

I like #3 the best. Here's the pic Yennyfire was referring to. I, too, prefer it with the oval, but it's gorgeous with the oec.

My vote is # 3. It retains the most 'engagement' type look about it. #1 is GORGEOUS - no doubt - but the sapphire makes it look a bit 'cocktail -like' IMHO. The 2nd is a bit too flowery for my tastes - but we are all different! :halo:
so #3, is the one that struck my heart as the most appropriate, if you are limiting it to the 3 singlestone options.

Lucky - those are ALL beautiful - sometimes choices can be a BAD thing!!

Obviously "flower" inspired type cluster rings always look cocktaily to me. And, super trendy right now due to the Royal Wedding etc. Can I pick d) none of the above? (It's just MY opinion. I hope it's appreciated in the spirit its given & not interpreted as mean!)
