I have to say that I have been a fan of this ring for a while! I love the look of an asscher in a bezel. |

I was worried about that too. Actually, since most bezel settings allow for the bottom of the diamond to be exposed more light gets through than in a prong setting where the bottom of the stone is covered by the crown. In my case, it looked like a brand new, better, stone in the new setting. People at work keep asking me if I got a bigger, clearer stone. There is so much brilliance and sparkle now I am practically blinded! |

So my sister-in-law loves asschers and I showed her your diamond and asscher ring and she has decided that that is exactly what she wants for her own e-ring! |

Cool - how flattering! I've had a couple of friends have lights go off in their heads when they saw my ring. One is even having an e-w EC set in a beveled bezel. Pineappletree took pics of my setting to her jeweler and he recreated a n-s EC of it. Is your sister-in-law engaged yet? Getting engaged? You're not in Dallas, are you? I have a great local jeweler who made the scapolite setting for me based on the setting WF originally made. |

Oh my gosh I love e-w setting! That will be stunning in a bezel. No my sister-in-law isn''t engaged yet and unfortunately we are in Salt Lake, Luckily, we have a really good jeweler who is on the lookout for asschers b/c they are not well known here and have to be brought in. At most stores she has been to the sales associates don''t even know what an asscher is...crazy! |
