Fabulous ring sets everyone!

Kaya, I think that is the first Michael B Crown Lace I have ever seen on PS! I tried it on when we were looking but my fiance didn''t like it...he thought that it wasn''t classic enough. But I adored it! Does it bother you when the diamond ''sets'' are not aligned? Looks great!!

Oh wow, I didn't realize that. The first time I saw an ad for the crown lace set I knew I wanted it. And my fiancee liked it, but honestly he didn't care, he just wanted me to choose the setting I liked the best since I am wearing it and he wanted to make sure I had the ring I loved the first time around. I told him the setting I wanted and he ordered them from the Michael B studio in Cali. I am not bothered by the diamond sets not being aligned, actually they are mostly aligned. I might have moved them to take a picture of them, but either way, it doesn't bother me at all. I'll add some more of them. I actually got a digital camera to take pictures of my engagement ring to post it up here, and then I never did because of getting married and moving countries. I intended to make a whole post about it, maybe I will one day. About my engagement, and how we came to buy this stone etc. It was a fun experience.

Wow!!! I''m constantly amazed at all the beautiful sets people here have. Seriously, all the research has paid off! I love all the sets that sit so flush--I''m jealous! I love my spacer, but will always be envious of the precision sets.

And MMM, your hand shot is great!!! You are nuts to think you have man hands AND that your ring is small. It looks VERY BIG to me!!!

I got it in 2000 as a graduation present from my husband. We bought it from the NJ jewelry exchange in Woodbridge NJ.
I actually saw a picture I liked and then found something just like it on the fortunoff website. So, the day I graduated, we went to Fortunoff''s to get the band, but they did not have it in stock. I noticed that the Jewelry exchange was across the parking lot, so I decided to see what was there.

I happened to find the exact ring in the first stall I looked at (it''s right by the door). I was really only interested in the band, but then the woman told me she had the matching e-ring as well and pulled it out.

I was shocked that she had a set, and so was my husband! We had fully intended to purchase just the wedding band from Fortunoff''s, but the price for both was pretty good, so my hubby agreed to get both.

Anyway, here is what I remember on the specs, almost one carat of diamonds on each ring. 11 channel set princess cut diamonds on the top shank and 22 round diamonds on the sides, 11 on each side.

Here''s the magazine page where I found the ring. Yes, I actually kept it. At time time, it was such a big deal to me because I had never gotten an e-ring and we had already been married for 7 years.
The OMC diamond was one I purchased for myself.
