Good size for your ear!..I'm getting a .50ctw K I3 set in 14k yellow gold 4 prong in a few days,hopefully it'll be a good size in my ear.(Pics to come)

A picture the seller took,i didn't notice that it had some black inclusions until after i bought it..Hopefully it won't be too noticeable when i get it.

My Brian Gavin .9 ctw K/SI1 in the handmade bezels in 18k white gold. I LOVE them! I was worried about the K color being too warm, but they face up really white. I've received so many compliments already!

Kat, those are so pretty! I thought you might like to see something I have that would go so well with those studs that I also got from BGD. They're either J's or K's (I forget which), and .8something ctw.

Oh wow Andelain, those are so pretty! Do you find you wear them a lot? I've actually been thinking about contacting Pearl Paradise and getting some pearl drops made. But diamonds are even better! I'm also thinking about getting the famous IDJ 3pter jackets for my studs. Can you imagine? Jackets and drops? Or both at the same time? droool!

I wear them some, not all the time. Right now I'm on a kick of just wearing my largest pair of studs by themselves.

Oh, and the 'both' idea sounds great!

Andelain- I love the new bling you've got! SO pretty! And LOVE the drops!

Kat- I think bezeled studs are my favorites!

I've jumped on the stud bandwagon in the last few months. I had 2 little OEC's that had been sitting around and finally got them set in some old fashioned yellow gold buttercup studs.

I was able to get these second hand a while back, courtesy of D&T. Thank you!!! .50ctw, 5.18mm including the bezel, G-H, VS & SI, 18k, and I loooove them.

Sorry I don't have a better photo. I am unclear of the specs on these, as they were last year's Christmas gift from my SO. They have a larger center stone and then 8 smaller stones circulating them, giving them almost the appearance of jackets.

From your picture, it looks like the halo gives your earrings the appearance of HUGE! Beautiful!

I now have my own pair to add to this thread! The stones are .464 and .466 (5mm) BGD signature rounds, the settings are platinum 4-prong baskets from IDJ. I love them!

Originally, i had the concern about the "claws" of the basket that the princess was sitting in, but once i had them in my ear, i soon forgot about them

I'd like to thank the PS community for the valuable information and support shared through this site. I first found my way here when I was trying to learn about the diamonds in my engagement ring and soon I got totally hooked. So after a year of self-education, I decided to celebrate my 30th birthday by giving myself a gift that would have lasting value This thread was a wonderful aid for comparing styles etc. So, to thank the previous posters I wish to show my gift - perhaps my pics will in turn help someone else <3

To mark my 30th birthday, I gave myself these .30 studs:



The other one is GIA .30 I SI2 XXX and the other AGS .30 I SI2 000. They came from Bluenile and I chose the babies myself from the inventory. I was certain I wanted the cut and symmetry to be as good as possible and I also used the GIA AGS proportion table pdf as a guide. In my experience AGS graded diamonds are relatively rare in BN and I did not initially look for one, but this one was there when I finally decided it was time to bite the bullet and place the order. I was curious, just wanted to see if there would be any difference. Well, of course I can't tell any nor can I say which one is which without using a loupe and looking for the small crystal inclusion in the AGS one. Both perform just wonderfully. I also think I got the size right in proportion to my earlobes. Although my SO commented "Well they could be bigger.." - I took that as a promise!! (Please excuse the wrinkly blouse, I took this picture for another purpose.. )

The only problem is that soon its my 31st bday and I kinda think it would be a good excuse for another sparkling gift!

I love these settings I never knew you could get an 8 prong martini setting. These settings are now on the top of my list for earring now. These are just stunning!!!

'Cognac' stones, ungraded but beautiful, 1.93 carat total with hand made yellow gold bezel settings.

[attachment=0]_Mine are 2.05 ctw They are said to be I-J color and SI quality. I love them they are set in 14k white gold and I had them upgraded from .80 that I had for many years love these.

I love my studs and lately i wear as daily. I am thinking of having another smaller BG stule bezel or milgrain pair for ~ .80ctw

Wow, all of these 2+ctw pairs are really tempting me!!!!

But here are my new .80 each (1.61tcw) studs from WhiteFlash! Second picture shows a .80 (6mm) next to a .65 (5.6mm) on the right.

love the new studs DS and the 8 prong settings on the others!

Nice pics! Studs are so classic. I actually turned mine into side stones for a ring. Now I sort of with I had another pair because you can do a lot with them and they're a good basic.
