My original plan was to set up the camera on a tripod to take 1 pic every second for 1.5mins. Sadly, it was prom night and there were literally hundreds of people around and no room for the tripod. Instead I waited for her to hug me and say "I love you" to which I replied "Enough to marry me?" and handed her the ring.

Photography is my hobby. I''ll have to try to steal the ring away from her for a few more shots of it. I was amazed by how well the picture of her hand turned out; it''s a testament to the amount of light retun from the stones. There was no flash or anything, just the last bit of sunlight around dusk.

It''s not really ring-related, but I thought I''d show off the location where we got engaged. This is Kerry Park, in Seattle, WA. The sunset was perfect (hence the hundreds of people at the park).
