Hi everyone

Thanks again for all your help and all the info I learned from this site.

I proposed at the top of the London Eye in our own private capsule with champagne and chocolates, and she said yes!!!!

Also I had to buy a new lens to take the pics, that''s the excuse I''m sticking to!

It is so very beautiful. The setting you chose (x-prong) really lets the asscher stand out. I hope you'll post specs of the ring and asscher here too (more details as in dimensions, % and angles and the vendor you bought it from, etc).

Sometimes the mind ignores what is logical because the person cannot accept the reality of what it is.

Yay, congrats!!!! What a romantic proposal that must have been. The asscher is absolutely stunning and so is the setting. We need more pics when you have time. That stone is just captivating!!!!

Wonderful stone in a very nice setting. The setting looks so fluid and really sets off the stone.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! ring and wonderful proposal story. Do you live in London or were you there on vacation? Was she surprised? I LOVE asschers and you know I love the X prong (I have it too.) I have the matching curved w-band and while I love how it looks, I would probably not buy it again because it doesn''t stay in place all that well and I''m often twisting it back around.

Wow!!! That ring''s jaw droppingly gorgeous...no really! Don''t usually like square (or, in this case, octagonal!) diamonds, but this really is amazing. Could we possibly have a complete handshot?
