Rose Cut Shimmer

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my rose cut diamond with you all because there are not a lot of posts here with them. When I was researching the cut I had a hard time finding pictures or information. Anyhow, here is my rose cut diamond set in a handcrafted 18k gold bezel by JbG. I absolutely love her! It is a very different type of sparkle, more of a constant shimmer that resembles moving water. It constantly flashes bold flashes of color. My rose cut is a WX VS2 and is approximately 10mm by 7mm. It is a very comfortable ring to wear and is paired with a band I had made by DK with French Cut blue sapphires and my engraved wedding band.

Thank you! I drew it up and David Klass executed it perfectly. He made some necessary adjustments and it turned out perfectly. He is always a pleasure to work with. Here are a few photos of just the band.

It is a new found love for me. I didn't even know what rose cuts were until a couple years ago. I have slowly gone back in time with cuts. I really am loving it. Thank you for your comment ☺

Thank you so much! I love it in yellow gold, especially given the diamond color. It looks so white but in direct sunlight I can see the buttery warmth and I really like that.
