I forgot to post my "staple" rhr.
I wear this one the most.
I''ve had it for about 9 or 10 yrs.
It is yellow gold with .24ctw. My jeweler had a pair of earrings like this and I asked if they could make a ring.
(this was before I saw the etoile style band- which I love too)

I just HAD to post a photo of my latest acquisition! I guess you can call it a RHR or a cocktail ring. It sports 2.9 cts of antique diamonds, the central ones are cognac colored set in an antique-look setting. I absolutely adore antique diamonds, they have so much personality, even if they are not perfect. Believe it or not, I bought this from TV - a good reputable dealer that I have used often. It sparkles like the dickens in the light

Here''s one of my right hand rings. It''s a Simon G I bought it from 5th-ave-jewels on ebay. I love it! I wear it on my right ring finger. I haven''t worn it in a while though, because I have been wearing a Cartier knock-off rolling ring on my middle finger with my mom''s original wide yellow gold wedding band on top of that.

Mara, I''ll snap one later today. Honestly, it took some getting used to. I believe it''s 12mm wide, so it comes up almost to the beginning of my knuckle. I stopped wearing it for a while once I got my rolling ring that I wear on my middle finger. The other day I tried wearing it again, but it just bothered me. Even though I still think it''s beautiful, I guess I''m just not really "into it" anymore.

And here''s my current right-hand fave, my knock-off Cartier rolling ring. I have so much fun playing with this ring throughout the day. While we were in Vegas this summer I stopped in a tried on the real thing, and I LOVE it!! But it''s $6000+, so my husband told me not to hold my breath. He knows it''s on my official wish list, though.

Oh Mrs Jam I love that rolling ring too! My hubby bought me the real deal a couple of years ago and I alternate between wearing it or my wedding set on my ring finger. The pave band is just yummy! Your Cartier look alike is very convincing!!

Some of my wife''s RHRs with gemstone (as opposed to diamond) center stones, albeit on her left hand so she could take the photo with her right:

Pinky top-2-bottom: blue zircon, sapphire, blue topaz

Ring finger t-2-b: tsavorite, tahitian pearl, mandarin garnet, ruby, tanzanite (some of the colors appear to be a little off)

Middle finger t-2-b: pink tourmaline, white opal, boulder opal doublet

Forefinger t-2-b: ametrine, african amethyst, chinese amethyst

Mrs. J - It is a lovely ring/look. Do you think it might bother you less on the index or middle finger? It actually looks a little large to me on your ring finger. I think these rings are very pretty but can see how they would be uncomfortable or weird feeling.
