You know, I think my husband is more diamond obsessed than I am. He actually wanted to buy me more bling this past Christmas and again on V-day and I said, no I have enough! (really! I know some of you don't believe me but I did, I really did!)

I told him we needed to spend our money on other things (like the house remodel). I actually feel guilty sometimes because we are not what I consider rich people, we are comfortable, but certainly not rich. I sometimes feel self conscious about my bling, especially when I'm around family and friends.

My husband knows how much I love diamonds, so he wants to give me more and more. But with our lifestyle, it's a trade off of between things i.e., new bling or a house painting? New bling or new shutters? New bling or new carpet?

I think I've had enough jewelry bestowed upon me by my wonderful husband and I'm quite satisfied indeed! So I'm on a diamond purchase hiatus for a while, or at least until we get the house remodel done.

Life has been good, thank you for asking. My family and I are all happy and healthy and my son has moved away to another state after being offered a two year job commitment/contract after graduation so my husband and I are focusing on the remodel of our home now.

I always come back to look at the pictures in the SMTR and I was anxious to share my new ones with all of you.
It feels great to be back.

Now what''s this crazy business about turning down bling? Better keep that on the down low sweetie, they''ll take your membership card away.

Thank you Magda. I did wear it by itself for a couple of years, but then added the two half eternity rings to push the bling factor over the top.

I always wear it that way now.

Funny you should notice that, when I first posted them here on PS and mentioned that my husband had a hand in designing them, someone asked me if he was an architect or mathmatician because of the look of them. He is neither, but definitely has a keen eye for form and can put pencil to paper to draw it. He is very detail oriented and has very good spatial visualization.
