My New Sparklies! 0.64 tcw J/VS2 ACA martini studs!

Hello all!!

It''s been awhile since I''ve posted much, but I''m here to share my new sparklies! I''m graduating from medical school on May 20th, and my parents wanted to give me a special gift...they said "how about diamond studs?" and I said "oh yes!"

So I got to work and found these two lovelies on the WF website, both J/VS2:

I went to look at them in person on Wednesday, along with a few other pairs within my price range. I was considering a pair of H/SI2''s and a pair of I/SI1''s as well....when I compared them all side by side, I honestly couldn''t percieve a color difference. That, along with the fact that these two were VS2''s led me to choose them! The J''s were just speaking to me somehow...I think maybe I''m one of those folks who is drawn to stones with slightly warmer color? Maybe it was the fire....because lemme tell ya, these guys shoot out flames like craaazy!

So WF set them into white gold martinis for me, and I picked them up today! I''m sooo pleased with them...they look even bigger set than they did when I saw them loose! I think they''re a perfect size for my year, and because they''re ACA''s of course they sparkle like mad!

I''m looking to buy studs. Are you happy with the ct size? I think it looks great on you. I''m deciding whether to go 1/4 ct in each ear or 1/3 like you did -- bigger even if I find a few dollars laying around.

Thank you, DiamondGirly!! Yes, I am thrilled with the size...they look even bigger than I thought they would! I think it's a great size for everyday....not big enough to be overly "flashy" but definitely big enough to get noticed!!

Fly Girl, yanno, I agree! Something about these stones just spoke out to me....I can''t really perceive any yellow in them, but the colors they throw off are delicious!!

That is beautiful and will make you a WONDERFUL doctor! Of course you have to put up with moms like me who come in with a million questions! Haha!
