After my grandfather passed away this fall, I decided to use some of the money he left me to get a piece of jewelry in memoriam.  I asked PSers for input as to what this project should be, and the consensus was overwhelmingly in favor of getting a solitaire pendant to replace the one he and my grandmother had given me years ago that was lost last summer.

I asked BGD to make this pendant for me, and Brian did a wonderful job.  This was my first time working with Brian and Lesley, and they were as lovely as everyone described here.  I decided on the Barbara pendant because I loved the way the setting looked, and Lesley assured me that this design would prevent the pendant from flipping, which I was concerned about.

The pendant turned out beautifully.  I am totally in love!  Lesley was absolutely right--it doesn't flip at all.  It sparkles so much, and the size is perfect for me.  It's like wearing a little star around my neck, and I know my grandfather would have loved it, too.

Stats on my stone:

.757 ct
Brian Gavin Signature H&A
AGS 000
5.86 x 5.92 x 3.58 mm
J VS2

It's set in BGD's platinum Barbara setting, on a 16-inch platinum chain with a jump ring at 15", which is where I've been wearing it most of the time.  I have lots of pictures; I'll start with Brian's glamor shots . . .
