Hi all,
My fiance proposed on Friday evening, and the ring is stunning. We had a hard time taking the pics though because none of them are in very good focus, or show the true beauty of this ring...so any picture taking suggestions are appreciated. Anyway, here is my Tony Rhinehart design!!

The specs are as follows:
2.17 ct center stone, Cut-Cornered Square Step Cut
G color
VS2
Fluorescence: None
Depth 70.9%
Table 68%
Culet: None
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: Slightly Thick to Thick

Pave setting info:
Total weight w/ center is 2.81 carats
Pave diamonds are SI2, 110 stones, color G

Congrats on your engagement, first of all!! The ring looks like a beauty...I can already tell I love the shank and I can hardly see any detail yet! And a 2.18 ct asscher...mmm...you''ve got to get more pictures of that ring!!! For every 15 pictures I take, 1 comes out nice...it just takes practice and perseverence.

Definitely try the macro mode (little green flower icon) and no flash...try lots of lighting conditions...and then come back and post some more!!!

Yes that is it!! He had the prongs made slightly thinner, a bit more delicate...and it''s definitely not that big of a rock :)!!

The ring is a 6.5. Small fingers don''t run in my family! :)

If you look at the bottom of the band you can see a small portion that is just platinum w/o pave detail which is great if it needs to be resized. I figure I will see how my hands are this summer ;)

Stunning ring!! Wow! It''s really beautiful--love the asscher with the pave (getting ideas for my next ring!). I know what you mean about the pictures. I''ve had a really hard time with that too but just keep taking them and a few are bound to come out ok!!! Congratulations!

Well, your fingers look slender and the ring is gorgeous!!!
I know an asscher is what I will have when the time comes, so I am trying to figure what ct. weight of asscher will look best on my finger. I wear a 5.5.
Yours is the perfect balance for your finger! I LOVE IT!The pave is beautiful!
