for a 5mm domed yellow gold comfort fit band should I get 10k, 14k, or 18k gold? i know the higher it is the easier it will be to scratch right so i may want to go for lower???? whats the best place to buy from? thanks!!!

I did out of Palladium and sterling

I wanted to add my hubby's new ring to this thread! It's a .38ct I VS2 Brian Gavin Diamonds H&A set in a Bruce Boone Titanium ring, size 8.75. The shopping experience with both companies was excellent and Bruce's turnaround was less than a week including shipping times, just amazing!

Me too! But he said he does not want to leave her wedding ring. It's there for life!

SO and I went to Titanium Kay to try on a few Tungsten Carbide rings. They look even better in real life!! Although heavier than white gold, they are extremely comfortable. I didn't forget to take pictures for PSers of course!! We ended up going with #2

Here is my husband's wedding band along with mine. It's 14kt white gold, comfort-fit, Benchmark, size 9. It is satin-finished, with little crosses engraved on it.

Hand Shots - His

As requested, here are some hand shots of my wedding band. These were taken at night, so the light wasn't very good, but I think you can get a feel for it. The band itself is 4mm wide, and I wear a size 9 ring. I thought about going wider, but this is a lot more comfortable to wear. The wider bands really needed the "comfort fit" feature, but that increased the thickness to the point where I couldn't put my fingers together. Ironically, the "comfort fit" was less comfortable.
