Hi Chrono,
What an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL diamond and setting. You have wonderful taste. Just my style. I am a September born person and have a sapphire, but it has more green than blue in it next to some sapphires I've seen. That ring is spectacular!! I'll just bet that the Jubilee from Jonathan's GOG stock of diamonds is blinding. Mine is and it was from the discount counter! Wear it in good health and happiness. Suz |

I love it love it love it!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() With GOG's introduction to the jubilee, my journey into the vortex of jubilee obsession began...which has slowly been fed each time I saw your avatar. And now to see the completed ring...oh, be still my heart! I want a jubilee 25th aniiversary ring too! Sigh, I guess I should wait until after I get my e-ring before mentioning this to my sweetie huh?

Thank you all for the very kind compliments. The ring is a size 4.5 in 18kt yellow gold shank and a PT band. I really wish I can show you all hand pictures.
The ring looks like a monster on my finger. A large sparkling rainbow that's held together by 2 blue blobs. Okay, so my description sucks. But truly, this thing is huge. I can't imagine some of you wearing such huge honkers. Sadly, I know I can't wear a 1ct. It'll just overwhelm my fingers. Yeah, I know some of you might disagree but that's just me. I'm also very pleased with the design and with all the work Wink put in. I called in with last minute changes and he was very accomodating. I called him almost everyday but he was very patient and did his best in addressing all my worries promptly. He also almost shipped the ring to me without payment first! His level of trust and service is amazing when you consider the fact that we've never met. The GOG team was wonderful too. Jon can attest to my nuisance telephone calls and frantic daily emails. I made my purchase during the moving, rennovation & vacation period but that did not stop them from giving such excellent customer service. I highly recommend both vendors. |

Thanks for the kind words Chrono!
With your level of participation here and the fact that you had already paid for the stone from GOG, I was hardly worried about sending you the ring. I wanted to get it into your hands as quickly as I could so that you would see the true beauty of the ring since my photos were just not up to the job. The Jubilee is my single best seller here in my local market. Every single client who has come to see me about a princess since June has gone home with a Jubilee after seeing them side by side, they are just SO much better! I wanted to thank you also for trusting in me to pick out the right sapphires for you and for being so explicit in what you wanted in your ring. It is WAY easier with the level of communication that you provided to end up with the ring that you want. You were an absolute joy to work with! Wink |

Believe or not, I am dying to show off the requisite hand pictures but how am I to do that without a scanner or a digital camera?
Q, I'd love to take up your offer but I fear after you see it, you may decide to keep it. ![]() This Jubilee has so much dispersion that my eyes never get bored. And when in the sunlight, the side sapphires actually gives the Jubilee a blue tint. I love that effect! Wink was so mean too. He had the finished ring on Friday and could not send it to me over the weekend for insurance purposes, but instead he emailed me the pictures. What do you think that did to me? It just drove me crazy knowing that he had my ring but I could not see or wear it for another 3 DAYS! That was just too cruel. He should have just not said anything until Monday morning. I spent all weekend pining and wondering about the ring...For those who own or have seen a Jubilee, do you think it looks kind of fake? I mean, it's just too beautiful and the rainbows that shoot out of it is unreal. When I first saw it, my first thought was this can't be a real diamond because it's just too gorgeous. |

Thanks all for the compliments. I just adore the Jubilee. It sparkles in all types of lighting indoor and outdoors. Believe it or not, it even gives off rainbow colours under fluorescent lights. I think I love the Jubilee best of all my diamonds; not that I have many to begin with. It's better than my RB and EC because it just performs all the time under all conditions.
Ana, thanks for putting the collage together. The square does look surprisingly good but I guess I just wanted a softer and "curvier" look. They sure look big though; can't miss them from 2 feet away. Are the lower right sapphire rounds? That's an interesting look too. |

Welcome back ep! How's the Scotland trip? Or was it Ireland? It's been a while since we've heard from you. I hope you had a great time.
Being the choosy and wishy washy person that I am, I'm changing out the trillion sapphires. Yup! You all can gasp away if it makes you feel any better. I've decided I needed a lighter but more intense blue to make the sapphires pop from a greater distance. This is going to be a difficult undertaking for Wink but I'm sure he's up for the challenge. For those who are familiar with the GIA colour grading, I've asked Wink for b4/5 to b5/5 or something like the sapphires posted in the picture below. The picture posted is of Diane's ring which I think is jaw dropping gorgeous.
