AME- Your set is really persuading me to go this route. It is just divine. I am really pleased that you have it and love it, especially because of everything you went through.

BUT, yes, I am also glad that you posted all of the pics of your fantastic set because it makes it easier for me to make a decision regarding my reset!

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of your 1.5 mm band also- LOL.

i really waffled between this and the half round. What put me over on this was the "cathedral-ish" sides that were not as evident on the half round. I really am glad I went with the tapered.

When you are down to the decision and if you need more photos I can do that! And I have more on ze-blog.

Yes the presentation is AMAZING. It's quite lovely, and the prongs are realllly nice, yes!!! Ah yes, wearing it. Half the battle!

It appears well made and sturdy, despite how delicate it is. I just like to keep my things brand new lookin...and I can't use my hands like a bull in a china shop with lovelies on my hands, I guess! I am glad though that my knowledge is helpful to everyone else.

I am working on the wearing. Best of intentions, just need to put it into action!

Ame, I love this happy ending and I LOVE the finished product! Your stone looks so much bigger in this setting-which is surprising. Is it just me? It really seems like a big difference.

I just love it and can't wait to see it with the new band. I also want to throw out the possibility of the smaller of the two Tiffany knife edges for your "in between" ring. I find I love the look of it being thinner than the band of the solitaire, but the height is perfect.

Anyway, congratulations! Well done!
