I can only say that Pricescope has influenced me! I got a 1.51 J VS2 last Christmas as a 30th Anniversary upgrade. While I loved the stone - I realized I was more color sensitive than I thought I'd be and it bothered me that maybe it didn't have the best light return, fire and brilliance that a better cut stone could have. (while it looked quite beautiful to me - those thoughts were in my head!) Here's the link to my "first" upgrade:

My first upgrade came from James Allen and I intended to deal with Yekutiel at ID Jewelry on the 2nd upgrade as he was so helpful in finding my daughter and her fiance a stone for their engagement. The problem was I found a True Hearts stone on the JA website that I really liked and Yekutiel couldn't get that stone for me and I couldn't get it out of my mind. Despite the few he showed me, I preferred the one at JA and wound up upgrading my J 1.51 at James Allen for a 1.71 H SI1 True Hearts. Here's the link to the stone on their website:

I feel crazy for upgrading my upgrade but I am "mind clean" happy now! I'm happy with the cut, happy with the color, and chose a more open traditional 6 prong (platinum) setting that makes the diamond easier to clean and view from the sides. I am having a hard time finding the inclusions with the loupe! Plus I got a little larger stone because I had a bit of DSS too. I don't plan to upgrade again! I will try to post a few photos I took with my phone.
