How do I post pictures?

Everytime I try to change my avatar in my profile it comes up with an error. I know that your pictures have to be a certain size but I''m not sure how to change that. Can someone help me out??

I use photoshop to change the size of pics. Have you also checked the name of your file? make sure it is unique, doesn''t have illegal characters, and isn''t too long.

Right click on the pictures you want and save them.
Use some number when saving them
Then go to the picture that you want and resize it down to half the size
Then go to browse and go to my pictures click on the picture you want and then up load.
