Oh junebug, thank you for your kind words as they mean a great deal to me coming from someone who also has a gorgeous ring! It is really a well-made ring, and the melee are so precisely set. It is 11:30 am central time here and I am just starting to get out of the house to get some things done.

Since I didn’t have diamonds anywhere else, and I wanted it to be “all about the center stone”, I felt the larger melee worked better with the larger OEC facets of my stone. Maytal was instrumental in helping me decide what size would work. I went into the Tiffany store to look at my ring under their lights, and the melee size was perfect with my diamond's performance.

I like the simple profile design and I love that you went with a plain shank! What really stands out to me, though, is the way the diamonds in the halo are clearly differentiated without overwhelming the centerstone... it's all so beautifully balanced and proportional

"Delicate halo" seems to usually mean "teeny tiny diamonds that outline the centerstone in a thin ribbon of twinkle", but yours embraces the larger size and in those last pics the outline looks almost scalloped - it's feminine and delicate and absolutely perfect

Congratulations!! I'm not usually a halo sort of person but goodness, I adore yours

Thank you, junebug! I just adore the fine quality of workmanship that Maytal delivers on her pieces; and I really looked closely at my ring...and it was perfectly executed. I am hoping she will get well-deserved, increased recognition on PS. I have to tell you a funny story though. last Sunday at church, I had quite of few people coming up to me commenting on my ring and asking for details about it. It surprised me somewhat as I thought people would be in deep thought in church and not notice rings. So Maytal has made her rounds off PS too!

Thank you, apacherose and I have to confess that I find myself looking at other people's gorgeous rings too and yours is certainly one of them! It took a VERY long time of searching and 2 tries before I found "the one" OEC that took my breath away. For me, it was worth the long wait as I adore my OEC and the setting that it is now in.
