Clairtek, Wintotty and Miss Debby those are just Stunning! Clairtek... I think my cushion diamond is also an 8 facet. I got my cushion diamond way before they became popular so there was not too much talk about the facet patterns........... I will look at what my GIA report says....... Keep those cushions coming people!

I think GIA officially calls my stone a cushion modified brilliant. I would assume then that a cushion brilliant is a 4-main?

I love how many new cushions have popped up around these parts. I think we have GOG to thank for part of that with the release of their AVC.

here's my lil one, i realized i hadn't posted it here and being that it's SUCH a pretty cushion it deserves to be 1.30 l si1 old mine cushion from 1910 sourced by Old World Diamonds in Leon's double claw solitaire setting. band width 1.4 mm on a sz 3 3/4 finger. Oh and below r pis of how i wear my set after getting a pink diamond band for my lil girl this is the set of my dreams!

Oh I'm so happy you put yours here VBnet! It is, hands down, the most supreme example of cushion awesomeness ever. I ADORE your ring. How do you wear it and get anything done? I'd be staring at my finger in a trance all day!

It's good thing I got it on summer break (I'm a teacher). First 2 weeks I didn't get anything done except my nails LOL. We were getting ready for our cruise (awesome) then we came back and I used jet lag as an excuse. ahhhh but it's August now and I'm gearing up getting some new materials created. Gotta figure out time to get my nails done. I do take it off at night because I go to a gym in the am and I don't want to damage it OR leave it in a locker. So, I try to do something before I put my love back on! It MUST be the same with yours Debby, even tho I love mine I keep going back to look at yours & your sister ring (Wintotty's). Some day we should all meet in NY and get LM to have his photographer do a group shot. It would be nice to get everyone from the waiting for a Leon thread involved. Who's in?

Ok....here we go.....

Modern Cushion 1.25 cts (looks much larger!) VS1, color F, ring size 5.25

And YES......I LOVE it to pieces!! Double claw prongs, cathedral setting....platinum. Worth the wait.......my DH is AMAZING.......my "cushion-like" lifestyle is finally reflected in this tiny piece of perfection!

I will take better photos in the daylight, but this gives everyone some idea!

I wasn't sure how it would look with my band, but it sits flush & the E-ring really takes centre stage.

The pics don't do this baby justice!!!
