Jam that loupe against that stone and snap a picture!!
Even if you don''t have macro it''s okay...if you take the picture and then open it up in a photo editing program like Photoshop or something at full size, you should be able to crop out the ring and make it a bit more ''closeup'' that way.
I find that even without having macro on and having my camera far from my ring, when I open up the pictures they are so huge (aka 1.6mb each) that they are easy to crop down and get a good visual on the ring itself.

That's perfect. Any time this weekend is good for me. I'm considering bringing my girlfriend along to check it out as well, but even though she came with me to HW this would be different. I might bring my sister for another opinion.
I'm looking to put a 1.5c G VS2 cushion in there, so your ring should look almost exactly like what I want. I can't wait to see it!

welp, I did some research and finally figured out how to get my digital camera to take pictures in macro mode!
