So for Christmas this year, my mom gave me a ring that her father gave to her when she was my age. She wants me to have it as my "Something Old" for my wedding this summer. It''s platinum with a star sapphire center and baguette diamonds on either side. I don''t have many pictures yet, but I thought you guys would like to see what I do have!

I too am sentimental and wore a herloom jewellry piece for my wedding, that is wonderful you have it. I am curious, is there anyone who can explain the star in the star sapphire? Is it the cut or a flaw?
I have flying monkeys and I am not afraid to use them.
