Hello all you price-scopers. I have been lurking around for the past few months, ever since my boyfriend showed me the ring his family had given him to propose with. I knew that I wanted it to be re-set, since it had belonged to his Grandmother who had had an arthritic shank put on it. So...after much research and many visits to area jewelry stores, I found a setting that I loved. Then I waited. I didn''t expect my fiance to propose until New Years at the earliest, since the setting had to be special ordered in my size and would take quite a while to come in. But, I guess they were able to "rush" the order and I ended up becoming engaged on Christmas day. I absolutely love the ring, and it is even more special since the diamond has been in his family for over 100 years.
