Although I am very sorry a PSer had to part with this gorgeous antique band, I am proud to be the new owner. In my own investigation, this 18K yellow gold ring was made in the early 1900s by Gorham Manufacturing Co, as part of a limited edition release. It is very well made with unbelieavable detail, making me suspect this is a die struck piece. The orange blossoms are so fine that you have peer up close, and then be amazed that they have little curves and dips as though they are indeed real. There is milgrain everywhere including the very bottom of the band. Like my new Van Craeynest piece, the milgrain is so fine it feels extremely smooth to the touch and even looks smooth until you stare hard at it from a few inches away.
