Oh just scrumptious!!!

It was yours and Susimoos gorgeous photos that encouraged me to reset my 2.12 D Si1 into the Emylia setting and I just adore it.
Victor is a master, even getting my Emylia to me here in Sydney and despite not having my stone to work with and it was created so exquisitely and is just perfect with my diamond snuggled down in it.

I'm so thrilled that you have found such a knockout diamond and have had Victor recreate such a beautiful home for it again.
Congratulations. I'll look forward to more photos....please!

MGR - even though the overall size difference including the halo part is only approx. 0.5mm difference, i definitely see a dramatic difference as soon as i put it on my finger. the first reaction i had was WOW, i love the halo to center diamond ratio. it is a different LOOK - you see more rock that is less blended with the halo. the fire and scintillation is insane compared to the slightly smaller rock with a bigger halo. the finger coverage to me is larger, however not dramatically, but is completely overshadowed by the fact that most of that real estate is made up by the center diamond.

i am also obsessed with the curvier struts that VC did on this setting. setting the stone lower than the last one is accommodated with the more dramatic struts, resulting in a very tight negative space in the gallery area. this makes the setting look uber elegant. the ring shank is teensy bit thinner this time at 1.75mm. i can definitely see the melee size difference compare to the 1.8mm pave band that i wear with, but feel that the ring shank is just as sturdy. for those who are planning on a similar setting, i will NOT recommend going any thinner than 1.75mm though !
