Yipeee!! I am so glad I checked back in with this thread this evening. We just came from a friends''s BBQ and I had some time on my hands. And WOW!! Starry your ring is gorgeous!!! Just gorgeous. I absolutely love the craftmanship and the style of it all!
BTW - I totally understand about the fingerprints. My Dad has done that a couple of times and innerwardly I am like ''EEEK'' but I say nothing so as not to be offensive.

LisaC - that''s so interesting that you were looking at the asscher. I remember seeing it referenced by Mara on a really old post, and the price never went up. It seemed like a great value to me, so I gave it a whirl. When the stone arrived and I understood what I was looking at, I fell in love!

Here is a link to the SPECS, courtesy of WF. The stone is slightly deep and the table is slightly large, but they work!

Gee, with all of the anticipation, I think everyone is going to be terribly disappointed with my e-ring.

Don't get me wrong - it's nice, but it's not a huge honker, like dear Harriet's.

It's special to me because of the great guy who gave it to me.

I purchased this asscher all by myself, just little old me, present to myself. He actually doesn't know about it yet!

Not quite sure what to do about that one....
